Men for Equality is a chapter of Men that aims to fulfil these needs by creating an umbrella that will link up to those Men who are looking to be involved in what is unfolding around them. A chapter where Men can feel a sense of belonging that is not determined by their employment, area they live in, education or which sports team they may support. A chapter based on our manhood and our uniqueness as Men. A chapter that is impossible to take away from us.

Men for Equality provides a place for Men to be heard, to learn from each other through sharing our collective experience, to grow and to teach. A place we can go for support and not feel judged by our mistakes. A place that provides a space where we are accepted, nutured and allowed to bring about change.

Vision

To create a culture where Men are accepted, supported and encouraged to create possibilities for change.

Mission

To actively promote and provide a service that allows Men to move beyond the limitations of Male stereotypes and help discover their own uniqueness as Men.

How

  • By providing self help, peer based learning and professionally facilitated courses and programmes.
  • Promoting and supporting Men's groups.
  • Providing networks of communication.
  • Facilitating community education for Men's awareness.

Values and Beliefs

We believe Men need healthy relationships with themselves, other Men, Women, Partners, Family and their community.
Men for Equality offers the chance for Men to improve their quality of relating. We support each other to make our own choices by spending time to share what is really going on in our lives and developing positive life changes from within our Male experience.
Men for Equality is a chapter of Men working towards creating a new loving and supportive Male culture.
We provide services and resources that encourage trust, courage and integrity as Men!
